PrintFactory provides a set of professional-level file correction and job preparation tools needed to produce more and with color-accurate results. This new solution builds on the heritage of PerfectProof ProofMaster, which has a proven track record in the graphic arts industry.

While signage production has been mainly driven by hardware investments, large format production companies today are facing challenges that not only hardware will solve. New machines have enabled higher quality, faster production and new applications for different markets. The challenge today is to efficiently and consistently produce complete campaigns on different machines and different media.

Most large format printers today come bundled with a RIP. However, a multi-printer environment then often implies a multi rip-environment. Operators, both in production and in the studio have to be educated on all these products to ensure permanent production continuity. As a complete production suite, PrintFactory offers the opportunity to streamline the digital workflow with the specific tools needed in the different parts of the workflow. The PrintFactory Editor handles all the job preparation within PrintFactory. It allows users to set up advanced manual and automated tiling, generate eyelet markers, add seam lines and many other things. Corrections on text or color are possible up until the very last minute. Beyond print production you can generate die cut lines to drive the finishing of your jobs. PrintFactory operates in a completely mixed environment, enabling studio operators to work comfortably on their Mac while the RIP can reside on a PC.

The PrintFactory Calibrator is the color control room of the suite. It makes printer profile creation really easy. Users can quickly create custom profiles for specific media and printers, optimizing the ink deposit for each print without sacrificing color quality.
PrintFactory’s advanced color engine also allows users to introduce proofing in the workflow, increasing machine up time and reducing waste of expensive production media and ink.

Accurate color on different machines, at different times

PrintFactory also drives an increasing range of printers. Having added support for a wide range of printers, PrintFactory allows users to drive these different machines from the same platform. All the color know-how PerfectProof has build up over the years is integrated in PrintFactory. Thanks to the wizard-based interface creating profiles is easy, allowing users to align various machines and to maximize color gamut on different media.

PerfectProof will show PrintFactory at drupa innovation parc in hall 7, booth 7.0c. From June 19 on, a trial version will be available from the PerfectProof website www.perfectproof.com. PrintFactory pricing starts at 2.350 EUR.
