axaio software names new team members

(Berlin, Germany) axaio software, developer of solutions for PDF creation, printing and content correction workflows for Adobe InDesign and QuarkXpress environments, announced today that it has appointed Karina Zander in the role of Sales & Marketing Manager and René Treuber as Product Manager, effective from July 1st, 2009. Karina Zander started her career in Munich, where she worked in the field of PR/Marketing in the electronic software market. Moving from Munich to Berlin, she changed not only her living place but also her working field, from electronic industry to the graphic industry. Joining axaio’s sister company callas software as Marketing Manager in 2003, she gained additional experience in press relations, event management and partner support. As Sales & Marketing Manager at axaio, Mrs. Zander’s role will be to strengthen axaio’s market position and increase brand awareness. Also, she will take care of international customer and partner relations.

In her new function, Karina will replace Achim Kuhlmann, who left axaio for personal reasons beginning of this month.

René Treuber will be in charge of axaio’s product development, quality control and documentation.

He has been at axaio right from the start of the company in 2006. René holds an in-depth knowledge and experience in prepress software, which he gained at callas software working in the domain of software development, quality assurance and support for 6 years.
