Claro Single
Product info
Integrate automatic individual image analysis and enhancement into your workflow
For fast processing of high volumes of images while achieving cost reduction and improving quality, printers and publishers rely on a professional automated workflow.
Claro technology, based on Claro Individual Image Analysis, automatically and individually analyzes images of varying type and quality. It delivers information on parameters such as sharpness, contrast, brightness, color balance, natural greens and blues, skin tones, Exif information, etc. It then solves possible issues and automatically delivers consistently superb image quality.
Elpical Claro Single in an integration module for automatic image processing fits seamlessly into many standards-based workflows such as Enfocus Switch® or Puzzleflow®. Through its command line interface it can also easily be integrated in home-grown workflows.
New in Claro 8
Precise management of natural blues, greens and skintones for publication
In Claro 8, sky blues, grass greens and skintones are made to look much closer to reality or to the endusers needs than ever before. Claro specifically recognizes natural greens, blues and skintones in an image and treats those differently from other objects in the same image to obtain even more natural results for both print and electronic display.
Further specific publication-centric adjustments to hue, saturation and brightness settings can now easily be adjusted to the user's specific market needs.
Two important contrast advancements
Preserve contrast in images through an optional brightness correction curve
With standard brightness curve limitations, dark areas are often brightened more than the lighter parts of an image, resulting in lower contrast.By using Claro's optional brightness correction curve, only the image's mid-tones are manipulated, resulting in image brightness adjustment that does not affect the overall contrast of the image.
Isolate contrast manipulation to protect color and hue through "contrast in luminosity-mode"
Contrast manipulation in images often causes unwanted side-effects: such as colors becoming too saturated, or even complete color changes. To combat these and other problkems, Claro now offers the advanced "contrast in luminosity mode" feature to isolate contrast manipulation from color manipulation, and thereby protect color and hue integrity.
Red eye reduction
Claro's newest red eye detection gives you the standard choice to reject, inspect or even immediately correct the red eye.Combined with an extra option to specify that detection is only needed when a flash function has been utilized, optimization errors are reduced significantly.
