Foxit PhantomPDF Creates and Validates PDF/A, /E, and /X Documents

Berlin, Germany – October 14, 2014 – callas software today announced that Foxit® Software, a leading software provider of fast, affordable, and secure PDF solutions, integrates PDF/A, /E, and /X technology from software provider callas software GmbH into Foxit PhantomPDF Business.

PhantomPDF Business is a fast, affordable, and secure PDF solution that delivers the right features at the right price for users to generate professional looking PDF documents and forms. It allows users to view, create, edit, comment, share, secure, organize, export, OCR, and sign PDF documents and forms. The callas software pdfaPilot technology extends PhantomPDF Business’s capabilities by allowing users to validate and create compliant ISO standard PDF documents for archiving (A), engineering (E), and print production (X).

Prices and availability of pdfaPilot

Two versions of the pdfaPilot are available for business users: The callas pdfaPilot Server costs 4,499 euros plus tax and includes a complete hot-folder interface and a command line tool. The server components support multi-processor environments for converting and validating PDF/A files.

The callas pdfaPilot Desktop costs 379 euros plus tax. It processes individual documents or entire folders when using the batch function. As a plugin for Adobe Acrobat, or a fast standalone application, the callas pdfaPilot contains a wide range of useful tools for making documents PDF/A-compatible or adapting them for many other uses.
