DesignNBuy integrates true SaaS PDF Processing with Atomyx Prepare

23 Mai 2024 By Cindy Van Luyck

Düsseldorf, 23th May 2024 – At drupa, the n°1 trade show for printing technologies, DesignNBuy, a leading online personalization and web-to-print platform developer, will be showing the integration of its DesignO online design tool with Atomyx Prepare for effortless and flawless artwork processing. Through the integration printers using DesignO in their storefront, will be able to automatically check and correct artwork designed by their customers before it is sent to production, providing a better customer experience and significant time savings.

Atomyx Prepare combines

  • - Core artwork processing technology (checking, correcting, and preparing files for print)
  • - Available through an API (Application Programming Interface)
  • - Delivered as a true SaaS product without worrying about software deployment, scalability, licensing, and activation, on a pay-per-use business model.

This combination makes it really easy to integrate artwork processing in any standard or bespoke cloud-based application.

DesignNBuy‘s DesignO is a versatile online design and personalization tool for a wide range of products from more traditional commercial print and banners & sign, over a wide range of photo products to mass customization of apparel and other objects. It can easily be integrated in the most widely used storefront platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Odoo and more.

“We have been looking to integrate preflighting and artwork processing in our products since the last drupa in 2016. While our customers are processing incoming artwork with their on-premise tools, we always believed at least some level of quality control needs to happen in the cloud before it is sent to production.” says Nidhi Argawal, CEO of DesignNBuy. “Atomyx Prepare provides us with the capability of offering early stage, cloud-native artwork processing without going back and forth between online and on-premise and eliminating the complexity and cost legacy software integration encompasses.”

Atomyx Prepare will be available for DesignO SaaS and self-managed customers. For DesignO SaaS it will be provided as an add-on to their subscription, self-managed customers will be able to select the plan that best first their usage and requirements on atomyx.io/prepare.

“The DesignO integration with Atomyx Prepare supports our vision that artwork quality control and processing is not just a single step in the workflow”, says Toon van Rossem, Head of Product at Atomyx. “It is something that happens at different moments, at different locations, by different people depending on the relation between the print buyer and print service provider, the order process, and the internal organization of the printer. Atomyx Prepare provides a missing piece in that toolbox by enabling cloud native artwork processing integrated into any platform.”
