Delivery Manager

About the job

As a Delivery Manager at Four Pees, you are the principal contact while a project is being implemented at a client. You get information from them, implement (parts of) the solution on their systems, answer their questions and concerns, and manage the project implementation .

Your main responsibilities include:

• Project Management: create and maintain the project in our project management software (we use Mission Control). Translate the technical specification into actions.
• Client management: get all necessary information from the client. Communicate about the implementation, the timeline and changes in the project. Manage client expectations throughout the project.
• Implementation: install and configure the software necessary to complete a project. Create profiles, imposition layouts, scripts or whatever else is necessary to finish the project. Work closely with Four Pees Experts to compliment your skills while doing so.
• Internal communication: track and document what was done, and what needs to be done still. Provide information to the Four Pees team to ensure your projects can be finished and maintained smoothly in the future.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Is client-focused: A customer-centric mindset with a dedication to delivering exceptional service and ensuring client success is all-important.
• Has excellent communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. You should be able to convey technical concepts clearly to your team members and to clients. Your communication style should be patient, clear and decisive.
• Is a great problem solver: if what we did was easy, anybody could do it. What we do is never easy, and you should be able to understand the business issue, have an overall technical understanding and provide creative and effective solutions in a timely fashion.
• Has a solid technical background: A degree in Computer Science, Information or Print Technology, or a related field, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical implementation or consulting role is required.
• Is a team player: Projects are usually implemented by more than one person. You need to be able to effectively communicate with everyone else at Four Pees so that they can learn from you; and you from them.
• Is curious and eager: You need to maintain your expertise about the software, hardware, and best practices used in our world. You should be internally motivated to be the best in your field.
• Masters English: Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is non-negotiable. As we are in Ghent, knowledge of Dutch is certainly helpful. As we have many (great) French customers, knowledge of French is also helpful. Any other languages you master get you bonus points!
